During that time, Huang Di and his physician Qi Bo worked to discuss and develop many of the traditional Chinese arts including acupuncture. The text, The Nei Jing (The Yellow Emperors Classic of Internal Medicine) would be developed which would serve as an important fixture in acupuncture as it outlines techniques, acupuncture points, needles and even descriptions of the meridians.
The history of acupuncture continues with the refinement of these processes as well as the creation of new methods of acupuncture. Today, there are many ways that they can be used, but all are based on these ancient methods.
